House of Wandering Silk

Their scarves are one-of-a-kind and handmade from a mix of upcycled, vintage saris and hand woven silks and cottons in ikat, floral and geometric designs.

Scarves are made using two layers of fabric, handpicked for their fabulous colours and designs and paired piece-by-piece. These layers are stitched together in the style of Indian kantha, in which women hand sew rows of tiny running stitch from end to end to provide strength and enable the recycling of saris.

This kantha stitch creates a rich, rippling effect across the fabric and adds a unique texture to the products. Each piece is completely unique.
